20 red sanders smugglers killed in Chittoor
In the biggest ever ‘encounter’ in south India, 20 men engaged by smugglers to cut down prized red sanders trees were shot dead by a joint team of special police and forest personnel deep inside the forests of Seshachalam in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh in the early hours of Tuesday.
